STAR R-AGE (english version)

7 July 2008 - Today we went to the take part in the Trailblazer, STAR R-AGE organised by The STAR. The day before the game, me with another three more friends took bus to Ipoh because their venue is at Taman D.R. Seenivasagam, Ipoh. Since that we bought the ticket last minute, almost all the bus express already sold out their ticket.

The end we found a company but their time is 9pm. We took also because only the company left tickets free. On the way, we don't know why the bus keep stopping. Some is because he want to fetch other passenger in other station. But got one time is because the police road-block. This time, we spend around half an hour at there because one of the passenger's passport have some problem. So we have to wait her done all the procedure then only we can continue our journey.

This bus took approximates 7 hours to reach Ipoh. When we reached there, the time just 4 am in the morning. That time, we got nothing to do then we just walk around the bus station and look for the time of any bus company that have 9 or 10 pm bus back to Malacca. After that, we took a taxi to that taman. The taxi driver is very good, we just need to pay hm RM 15 for four person to that taman.

That time, there was nobody at that venue because only 5 am in the morning. So we just took a look of the game that we going to play later on (the organiser already prepared the game one night before). Then we just sit down and chat with each other. Around 6 am, the organiser already reached and start to prepare the game.

So we are the first group to register at there. That time we got our own group T-Shirt. I got an Orange color and my friend got her favorite color : green... Keke
After we change our cloth, then we gather at the field and wait for the opening ceremony. There are totally 6 group with each color: Orange, Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, White. There are totally 31 small group in each color. The opening ceremony took only 20 minutes and then we start our first game.


The first game: Build two house and recognise the plant. We divided our group into three small group. Two group will be handling the house and the other one will be handling the plant. Me and my friend will be handling the plant. We took only 5 minutes to arrange the plant according to their name. Later on we start helping them in building the house because we only have 15 minutes to do all the things. The end we didn't success the game. We only have 93 points for the first station.

The second station: Pull the train. There will be 12 people in the train with only few people will be pulling the train. The train must not fall or touch the ground or our point will be minus. After we arrange the people into three train, we start our game. We only will be given 15 minutes to pull the train to 50 feet. All the guys have tried their best to pull but the end we all didn't success. We only got 152 points.

The third station: Go with the flow. In this station, we divided into two group. Each will be having different game. Me and my friend will be playing piping. With only four pipes provided, we not allow to touch the pipe and have to fill up 30 vessel with coconut shell. We all tried our best to fill up the vessel and the result is we success filled up 37 vessel. We got 217 points.

The fourth station: individual game. This time each small group will be playing a game. First is making soya drink by using the traditional equipment. We only given 10 minutes to do that. Me and my group member tried very hard but we success to meet their requirement and we got 2 points. The second game will be bean spout. We have to separate the bean spout from their head. We manage to get 120 gram which is their minimum requirement.

The fifth station: Take the color coins out of the tabung? With just a tiny small hole, we have to take out the coins without opening it. Our group are trying to get the red color because it have the highest mark. But for me, i didn't aimed for that only. I tried my best to get all the coins out. The result is: we got 162. The highest mark if compare with other group. Haha~~

The last station: Get the ore from the sand. The organiser combine the silver ball with the sand, we have to find the ball within 15 minutes. They required us to collect 50 silver balls. We have divided into eight groups with four group will be handling the finding job and the rest will be taking the sand to them and let them find. The round we able to get 125 points neh...

After that, we have our break time. This time we having the worse time because our bags have been stolen by people. Four of us but only 3 bags were stolen. I lost around 100++, my friend lost around 300++ because her bag already 100++ and one jacket is also 100++; another friend lost also 200++ because her bags is a limited edition which borrowed from her brother girlfriend. We tried to find our bag but can't find....

And then we already don't have the mood to play the game anymore. After we heard our result, we straight away back to Kuala Lumur first because there don't have any bus to Muar. So it took around 3 hours to reach Kuala Lumpur.

When we reached there it already 6 pm, so we bought 9.45 pm bus to back Malacca. During the free time, we went to Time Square to buy bag because without bag we cannot go for class. We took some time to find and match which one is suitable to ourself and then we have our dinner at there as well.

When the time is reaching, we took the LRT and back to the bus station. It took a approximates 3 hours to reach Malacca. When i sit in the bus, i started to sleep because i whole night didn't sleep while going to Ipoh. When i reached Malacca, is already 1 am .

After this incident, we have learned our lesson. Next time won't put our bags in anywhere.
